Care Instructions
Velouria pieces are crafted from the finest natural materials. With proper care, they will age gracefully and last for generations.
Smooth Leather
- Protect from direct sunlight, heat, and rain. Should it become wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth.
- Clean occasionally with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or saddle soap.
- When not in use, store inside the provided dust bag in a well-ventilated area.
Suede & Nubuck
- Suede is delicate and naturally porous. Avoid contact with liquids, oils, and cosmetics.
- To restore the nap and remove superficial dirt, gently brush in one direction with a dedicated suede brush.
- Color transfer can occur; avoid resting dark suede against light-colored garments.
Hardware
- Our signature hardware is plated in 18k gold or palladium. Over time, slight tarnishing may occur natively.
- Polish gently with a dry microfiber cloth to restore shine.
- Avoid scratching against abrasive surfaces or applying perfume directly onto the metal.
The Golden Rule
Never overfill your handbag. To maintain its silhouette and prevent the leather from stretching out of shape, stuff the interior with tissue paper when resting in your wardrobe.
